Bangalore, July 25: Chief Minister HD Kumarswamy had a discussion on the status quo of the state’s power sector.
The state has already reached its 2022 target of producing in solar power. Officials informed that the targetin other renewable fuels will also be met.
Also during this meeting the setup of 370 MW power plant based on gas in Yelahanka and setting up of 10 power plants in Shivanasamudram under the Run of the River scheme was discussed.
The revision of state power projects was discussed in accordance with the fuel policy set by the central government.
Chief Secretary of the Department of Energy Ravikumar, CM ACS Ramanareddy, Secretary Selvakumar, Finance Secretary ISN Prasad participated in the meeting.
