DMK chief M Karunanidhi Shilfted to ICU

Chennai, July 28: Tamil Nadu’s former CM and DMK chief M Karunanidhi has been admitted to the hospital after suffering from a lung infection.

Due to the rapid decline in blood pressure, he was shifted to kaveri hospital from his house. Karunanidhi, suffering from gall bladder infection was being treated at his residence in Gopalapuram.

The doctor’s team decided to take him to the hospital after examining in the night at Karunanidhi’s residence.

DMK leader A. Raja said blood pressure is now under control and there is no need for anxiety. Tamil Nadu Governor Bhanwarilal Purohit visited the hospital early morning and asked for health.

DMK president MK Stalin, MK Alagiri, Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi and Dharamirugan and other several leaders visited the hospital. DMK volunteers and fans gathered in front of the hospital on Saturday, praying for their favorite hero.
