BJP chief Amit Shah today ridiculed opposition unity in largest state Uttar Pradesh to defeat BJP and challenged them that his party would increase its seats in the state from the presently having 73 seats to 74 seats. Admitting that BJP’s route to Delhi’s throne would pass through UP, he said confidently that his party will win no less than 74 seats, even if Bua-Bhatija-Baba (BSP-SP-Congress) join hands.
For BJP, he said that it will not make any difference and sure to emerge as stronger than ever after Lok Sabha polls. Addressing at a meeting after renaming of Mughal Sarai railway station as Deen Dayal Upadhyaya railway station.
Strongly attacking opposition parties opportunistic silence over the issue of National Register of Citizen, Amit Shah asserted that the BJP was committed to throwing out illegal immigrants from the country.
He demanded that Rahul Gandhi should clarify whether he want NRC to be conducted in the country or not. “You all should say whether Bangladeshi infiltrators should be pushed out or not. I would like to ask the SP, the BSP and the Congress whether they want the infiltrators to stay in the country of they should be driver out”, he added.
