At the Thrid Test match also, India’s disastrous batting is disappointing every one. India lose Pujara at stroke of Lunch, 82/3 after first session. Frustration was witnessed on the faces of Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri,  as the players head back to the dressing room.

England won the toss and put India in to bat in the third Test with a 2-0 lead in the series. India made three changes with Murali Vijay, Kuldeep Yadav and Dinesh Karthik sitting out in place of  Shikhar Dhawan, Jasprit Bumrah and debut for 20-year-old Rishabh Pant.

Dhawan and KL Rahul gave a strong start with a 60 run stand for the opening wicket before Woakes struck to dismiss Shikhar. He then followed it up by getting KL Rahul leg before.

The session ended with Pujara playing a miserably poor shot to throw his wicket away. After strong start, poor end for India in the opening session.
