Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, who visited Vijayawada today to offer prayers to Godess Durga, said that they want to work under the leadership of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He had a courtesy meeting with his counterpart this morning.
Kumaraswamy recalled that Chandrababu Naidu was main man behind the formation of fronts in the past. He also said that Naidu is experienced and good leader in politics.
Kumara Swmy said that there was a need to unite all political parties against the BJP-led NDA government. Stating that there may not be any problem for regional parties to chose the next prime minister, he said that the candidate would be decided after completion of elections only. He asked all political parties to work against the NDA government at the Centre.
Asserting the need for the formation of third front, he said that the agenda of regional parties are common at present. He hoped that the AP’s new capital Amaravati would be completed successfully under the able leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu
Meanwhile, the temple officials welcomed him as per the protocol. The Chief Minister offered special poojas to goddess Durga along with family members and spent some time in the temple premises.
