Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today launched `Mukhyamantri Yuvanestam’ programme benefiting over 2.10 lakh unemployed youth initially. Under this programme, the unemployed youth will get unemployment dole of Rs 1000 per month in addition to skill development programmes, apprenticeship and training programmes in industries and self employment programmes.
Addressing the youth on this occasion, the Chief Minister stressing the need for skilled human resources, assured that there would be no dearth of jobs for educated and skilled personnel in the state. He said first priority would be given for local talent in the industries to be set up in the state.
The Chief Minister said the Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestam programme was launched to empower youth, who play key role in development of the country. He said the average age in the country stands at 29 years by2029.
He said sky is the limit for advancement of youth and they should use the Yuva nestam platform for innovation, incubation and start-up companies by improving their skills. He said youth should upgrade their knowledge continuously to meet the global demand.
Stating that the Mukyamantri Yuvanestam programme is close to his heart, the Chief Minister said that he introduced Information technology two decades ago and as a result lakhs of youth got employment worldwide. The Chief Minister explained how the state attracting industries and described on the setting up of Kia motors in Anantapur district and Foxcon in Sri City and Brandex in Visakhapatnam district.
