Palaniswami facing public ire, Stalin sweeps popularity

Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami is fastly losing public faith and faicing public disaffection, while the leader of opposition M K Stalin is emerging as most popular leader in the state.

According to latest India Today’s Political Stock Echange (PSE) survey, 54 per cent of respondents ticking the “dissatisfied” box towards Palaniswamy regime and only as few as 18 per cent found it to be satisfactory.

On the other hand, DMK chief MK Stalin sweeps the popularity chart, with 41 per cent supporting him as the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Palaniswami trailed at 10 per cent and actor-turned-politician Kamal Hassan was at eight per cent ahead of Rajanikanth, at six per cent.
