Siddaramaiah says BJP is in state of ‘coma’

Former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah today said that the BJP is already in a state of “coma” due to its past deeds and asserted that BJP would remain as an opposition party in the state forever.

Ridiculing BJP’s prediction that the JDS-Congress government would fall, he warned it against indulging in ‘Operation Lotus’ again. He said that BJP can never succeed in its effort.

“Yeddyurappa (now state BJP chief) has once again made a statement that the government would fall. Already due to several rounds of operations, the lotus (BJP symbol) in Karnataka is in coma. Now once again don’t try your hands into the wrong adventure of Operation Lotus,” he warned in a tweet.

Referring Yeddyurappa and other BJP leaders expressing doubts about the continuance of the coalition government headed by H D Kumaraswamy ever since it came to power in May, he said that the coalition is stable and will continue its full-term. He recalled that till now BJP failed to attract a single MLA from theri side, besides its abundant efforts since last May.
