Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrashekhar Rao is scheduled to take up week-long intensive pol lcampain in the state, starting from November 19, after the closure of nominations filing schedule on the previous day.
According to party sources, the week-long electioneering will see the Chief Minister addressing 28 public meeting and covering about 66 of the 119 constituencies in the State. At the time of dissolution of the assembly on September 6, he had indicated to take up intensive poll campaign for 50 days, covering 100 constituencies, before starting of the poll schedule. But, hardly he addressed three public meetings, since then.
He will hold one public meeting for every two Assembly constituencies with the objective of covering at least 100 constituencies before December 5, as planned earlier.
As per the new schedule, Chandrashekhar Rao will travel by helicopter and resume his election campaign on November 19 when he will address two public meetings at Khammam and Palakurthy (Jangaon constituency). He will participate in public meetings at Dubbak, Huzurabad, Sircilla and Yellareddy on November 20. He will also address public meetings at Jadcherla, Devarakonda, Nakrekal, Bhongir, and Medak on November 21.
On November 22, the Chief Minister will continue with the poll campaign at Khanapur, Itchoda (Boath constituency), Nirmal, Mudhole and Armoor constituencies. Further, he will participate in public meetings at Narsampet, Mahabubabad, Dornakal, Suryapet, Thungathurti and Jangaon on November 23. He will address public meetings at Tandur, Parigi, Narayanpet, Devarakadra, Shadnagar and Ibrahimpatnam constituencies on November 25.
