Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today said that she felt insulted with body-shaming comments of JD(U) expelled leader Sharad Yadav against her. She said that the Election Commission should act over such improper comments during election rallies.
“To set an example for future it’s important that EC takes cognisance of this kind of language. I actually feel insulted and I think even women are insulted,” she told media after casting her vote at Jhalrapatan constituency of Jhalawar.
Sensing all-out criticisms over his improper comments, Sharad Yadav tried to dilute his comments. He said that it was a mere `joke’and his intentions were not to hurt the Chief Minister.
While addressing an election rally in Rajasthan, yesterday, the senior Bihar leader asked voters to Give rest to Vasundhara. She looks too tired and has gained too much weight. Earlier she was slim. She is our Madhya Pradesh’s daughter (Vasundhara ko aaram do, bahut thak gayi hain, bahut moti ho gayi hain, pehle patli thi. Humare Madhya Pradesh ki beti hai)”.”
