Ahead of results for five assemblies comes out, the BJP is preparing for its 2019 Lok Sabha poll campaign. The star campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already designed his campaign schedule.
He is preparing to launch his poll campaign from Rae Bareli, the parliamentary constituency of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, on December 16. Though he is visiting the constituency to flag off the newly-built coaches at Rail Coach Factory in the district, the party cadre is preparing to gear up for the LS polls. He is also likely to launch some development schemes.
With the exit polls indicating that it won’t be a cakewalk for the BJP anymore, both Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah are getting ready with their strategies to keep the cadre in high spirits, said a leading portal.
BJP spokesperson Dr Chandra Mohan said, “No constituency or area is anyone’s personal fiefdom. Rae Bareli and Amethi had lacked on development for decades. Prime Minister’s visit to the town is in tune to our promise of bringing development back to this region.”
At the rally, PM Modi is likely to touch upon the corruption charges surrounding the Gandhi family. He would also then proceed to Prayagraj (Allahabad) for monitoring the Kumbh preparations.
