BJP claims video proof on Karnataka CM seeking bribe

BJP MLA in Karantaka Arvind Limbavali from Mahadevapura claimed that his party is having a video tape where Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy is seen demanding Rs 25 crore bribe from aspirants for the MLC seat.

The BJP shot out this claim as a counter to Chief Minister releasing an audio, two days ago, in which BJP state president YS Yeddyurappa was purportedly heard offering money to JD(S) MLA’s son.

The BJP MLA said that they will request the Spekar to view the video tape in his chamber. Chief Minister can also come along and explain himself, he added. He lamented that Kumaraswamy has been making false allegations against the BJP. He accused that JD(S) got mimicry artists to record the audio. But, he said that they are having video proof.

It may be recalled that Congress leaders in Delhi, yesterday, alleged that BJP top leaders were trying to topple Congress-JD(S) government in the state by offering money to their MLAs. They said they will raise this issue in the Parliametn tomorrow.
