Prime Minister Narendra Modi today assured the nation that the nation is in safe hands. Addressing a public rally in Rajasthan’s Churu hours after IAF carried out surgical strike at Jaish terror camp, he asserted that “I won’t let this country down”.
Addressing his first pubic rally after IAF strike on Pakistan, PM Modi said,”Today is a day to pay homage to India’s brave hearts. I want to assure you that the country is in safe hands. Every Indian will win. We won’t let anything threaten India. Serving you is my priority. I will always defend the nation.”
Recalling that he had pledged to protect the country’s best interests back when he came to office in 2014, he said that there is nothing more important than this country for him.
The prime minister said the government could take “bold decisions” because of “your one vote”. He said, “Your vote made a strong government in 2014. The entire world is today witnessing its power…Your one vote will give reply to those thinking of a weak government at the Centre and elect a stronger BJP government again.”
Earlier in the day, BJP president Amit Shah had said that country is safe under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong and decisive leadership. “I congratulate and salute the bravery and valour of our armed forces. Today’s action further demonstrates that India is safe and secure under the strong and decisive leadership of PM Nrendra Modi,” he stated. “Our New India will not spare any acts of terror and their perpetrators and patrons,” Shah added.
