BJP President Amit Shah asserted today that BJP brought peace and development in the North East region after five year’s of its government at the centre. Addressing a election rally in Arunachal Pradesh, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had instructed ministers to visit northeast every fortnight to resolve problems in the region.
Shah recalled that five years ago, northeast was disturbed and there was hardly any development. He said all parts of the region are now connected with airways and railways and government gave Rs 50,000 crore for the development of roads of the state.
It may be recalled that BJP is contesting for the first time for all seats in Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections. BJP chief said that Arunachal Pradesh earned Rs 927 crore revenue and the credit goes to BJP’s chief minister Prema Khandu ji. It’s going to make this state financially independent. “Our winning streak began when 3 BJP MLAs were elected uncontested, he added.
