Congress has reinstated “goons” who misbehaved with me: Priyanka Chaturvedi

The fire-brand Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi, who is familiar in attacking political opponents with harsh words, this time lashed out at her own party for reinstating ‘a lumpen goons’, who reportedly misbehaved with her within days of their ouster.

Expressing her displeasure towards the party’s decision, she tweeted, “Deeply saddened that lumpen goons get prefence in @incindia over those who have given their sweat & blood. Having faced brickbats & abuse across board for the party but yet those who threatened me within the party getting away with not even a rap on their knuckles is unfortunate.”

Recently, Congress party suspended few party workers after they had misbehaved with Priyanka Chaturvedi at a conference in Mathura. Giving them a stern warning, the letter released by the Congress party reads, “It is expected that you don’t do anything to tarnish the party’s image.”

However, surprising everyone, those workers have been recalled on the orders of Congress general secretary Jyotiraditya Scindia. Priyanka Chaturvedi recently made headlines when she mocked Union minister Smriti Irani’s education qualifications and sang a parody of her famous TV soap opera’s title song- riddled with innuendoes pertaining to her lies over her education.
