PM Modi flays AAP brought ‘nakampanthi’ model of governance to Delhi

In an apparent attack on the AAP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said they supported the ‘tukde-tukde’ gang and brought the “nakampanthi” model of governance to the national capital.

Addressing his first 2019 poll rally in Delhi at the Ramlila Maidan, accompanied by the BJP’s seven Lok Sabha candidates for the national capital, he deplored that Delhi has seen ‘nakampanthi’ model of governance and people had come to change the country, but they themselves. They supported ‘tukde tukde’ gang and strengthened India’s enemies, he added.

PM Modi reiterated his statement that the country has seen four types of parties. Naampanthi, Vaampanthi, Daam aur Damapanthi and the fourth which has been brought by us is Vikaspanthi. He added that Delhi has seen a fifth model, ‘naakaampanthi’, the one which rejects work related to Delhi’s development and fails. Modi said such people have spread anarchy in Delhi and have betrayed the people of India.

In a veiled attack at Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, PM Modi said that the BJP has worked for the welfare of the people at large and especially the middle class. “The middle class is given help for their houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Respecting the honesty of the middle class we have kept the annual income up to Rs 5 Lakh out of the taxable income,” he said listing the schemes brought out by his government.

Taking potshots at the Opposition, PM Modi stated that when work is done with good intentions it yields good results. “Inflation used to be on a rise, it is now under control. The poor have access to houses, toilets, electricity and are given benefits of Ayushman Bharat Yojana,” said the PM.
