PM Modi uses poison of hatred to divide this country: Rahul

On the second day of his visit to Wayanad, Congress President Rahul Gandhi today renewed his attack against Narendra Modi, alleging that the Prime Minister is using “poison of hatred” to divide India.

Rahul Gandhi said, “Narendra Modi uses poison, I’m using a strong word but he uses poison of hatred to divide this country. He uses anger and hatred to divide the people of this country. He uses lies to win election.” He said that PM Modi represents the worst sentiments of this country which includes anger, hatred, insecurity and lies.

Promising to work for all sections of society irrespective of their social, religious and political affiliations, he said, “Even though I belong to the Congress party, our doors will be open for every single citizen of Wayanad, regardless of their age, regardless of where they come from, regardless of what ideology they come from.”

Gandhi is on a three-day visit to Wayanad for thanking voters after being elected from the Lok Sabha constituency with a huge margin. His visit to the southern state comes amid his firmness to step down from the Congress chief after his party’s drubbing in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
