BANGALORE, JULY 27, 2019 The success of the three legends, namely, Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir Khan, of Bollywood is not news. A great personality, family lineage and acting skills may play instrumental roles but is not sufficient to attain the name and fame that the Bollywood Baadshaah, Sallu Bhai or Mr.Perfectionist have achieved. The Bespoke Show (TBS), a new generation talk-show, hosted at the Indian Institute of Journalism & New Media (IIJNM), had a diverse panel to go beyond and behind the screen to decode what differentiates successful film stars from others.
Dr.Dinesh Kumar, Professor at IIM Bangalore has published papers, on Bollywood, in the Harvard Business Review. He gave an analytical perspective, using data points, at the TBS. Suparno Sarkar, Entertainment Journalist, IBT, had loads of anecdotes to share from his interactions with the celebrities. The show also had Ritesh Navalgund, Sony Pictures Networks and Dr.Githa Heggde, Chairperson, CII-IWN, on the panel.
